The Credentials tells of the journey of Juan—who could well be Pedro or María—, a man who lives and works in the river. Juan uses different means of transportation that will take him to the airport. After the flight, he is barely accepted by the European migration authorities. Juan meets Johannes—he could well be Claus or Franz—, who works and lives in Germany and whose life doesn’t seem to be very different from Juan’s but, at the same time, it is.
